Aw perfect. They’re lovely, bees love and need them, and they’re super easy to pull up when they’re done before they set seed- and if they’re causing a problem with bulbs or plants not getting enough light- then just pull up the ones that are an issue early, leaving the rest.
I’ll always let my borders turn to a sea of blue in the spring, when it gets a bit overly rampant I’ll be selective about which ones I let seed or not.

They’re beautiful! We had a beautiful border full of them which was dug up last year to build an extension. I saved most of the big plants but not the Forget-Me-Nots. The earth from the border was used to extend our car parking area and the sloped bank of this is now covered in them, I’m so happy!

Little happy flowers.
And I do have seeds but opted for buying some white and pink plants earlies this year, so I at least would be sure of having some flowering plants. But I have also got some blue volunteers coming up already.
So I hope there will be many more volunteers showing up in the next few years!
