The Mr. Maple team visited Gibbs Gardens in Georgia in November 2024, highlighting its renowned Japanese gardens during peak fall color. The tour featured reflective ponds, vibrant Japanese maples like Acer palmatum dissectum ‘Red Dragon’ and Lion’s Head Maple, and expertly pruned Japanese White Pines in a “floating cloud” style. Other notable plants included Oakleaf hydrangeas, Chinese Fringe Trees, and Rhodia japonica. The garden’s thoughtful layout, blending traditional Japanese aesthetics with seasonal beauty, created an immersive experience. The team expressed enthusiasm for the visit, inviting viewers to follow their daily Japanese maple content.
