What exactly are your lighting conditions?? This is amazing!

Were the lighting conditions too harsh or did you water insufficiently for the lighting conditions it had? Folks keep succulents in full sun in Arizona in the summer but the plants were in-ground (cooler for roots) and needed water almost daily at the peak of summer per a local.
