  1. When I started my first garden 25 years ago, my kids were just babies. Everything in my small little garden was edible including the decorative flowers. My kids always had so much fun. They knew they can eat everything in the garden! They would go tasting every little thing. They are both now in their 20s. I miss it so much! This was so heartwarming watching a little Ben picking strawberries with you. Brings me back. thank you Jess!

  2. “Sow four beans as you make your row, One to rot, and one to grow, One for the pigeon, and one for the crow.”

  3. What strawberry variety grows larger berries? I have tried June bearing and ever bearing and always get small pinky sized berries.

  7. We have two 60-foot rows of strawberries, and last year we actually fertilized; the berries were huge, and I ate gallons of them fresh. I also freeze dried them, made SO much jam, and ate crepes and strawberry daifuku until I was nearly sick of them. There really is nothing like a fresh, home-grown strawberry!
Ours are just starting to put on blossoms; we're weeks behind you. I shall have to wait patiently, I suppose.

  8. ❤ I only have strawberry plants in greenstalks and they started flowering in the greenhouse in February, but no fruit yet. I brought them outside in March noticing today that there are more flowers than leaves. CAN NOT WAIT!!! 😊

  9. Absolutely want to see everything and anything 😊you share because you and your family are amazing! Love you all! And love your content and Christian witness! I bless you Jess until next time
