I repotted two plants off the mother plant it had two roots growing into the soil but they looked iffy but it had a bunch of new leaves so i figured they would do fine and repotted them and now they are limp should I take them out of soil and cut old roots and put in water

Have you watered it yet? No need to remove the old roots, at least not yet. Especially if there’s no sign of them rotting or being brown and soft/mushy

That is a very large cutting for minimal roots. It will just take time for it to grow roots before it will do anything above the soil.

Anytime I get limp plants after repotting like this I always go straight into water propagation, I don’t even bother trying with soil bc I’ve never done it successfully. My red maranta is only here bc I had to intervene when she went limp after a repot
