  1. I have an Eden rose; it’s been in the grown 2 years. I didn’t cut it all the way back in January and it’s climbing all over my arbor. I don’t know if I should cut it way down in January or just defoliate it. I love your cottage garden and everything in it. I love how you identify seedlings, helping us learn. I have three chrysalises; two in my Blood Orange tree and one on the side of my screen in patio. I saw when the swallow tail butterfly laid her eggs. I moved into my new construction house in October 2022, about the same time you moved into yours. I’ve enjoyed watching you create your paradise.

  2. …I love love LOVE red geraniums — any geraniums for that matter — but the rain does such a number on their beautiful blooms… 😢❤🤷🏼‍♀️
    👩🏼‍🌾💚 =^..^=

  3. How I loved this video about the garden in all its spring glory. The rain added to the lush planting, the fresh greens ( I could happily garden in green ) and the perfect Boxwood.
I wonder, Linda, if you could put a little sign on your videos to show it's about the garden. As helpful as your tips are about inside the home, I don't wish to know about storage; reorganising drawers and cupboards – when I could be watching you limb up a tree or carry out toperie.

  4. We found a pretty large snake in my daughters shed when she was cleaning it out. She thought it might be a rattlesnake. But it was just one of the gopher snakes that live in my neighborhood. Personally I love having snakes in my garden. They are more afraid of us and have never tried to be aggressive. They usually just back up into the safety of wherever they were first hiding out waiting for any small rodents to feast on. Would always rather have snakes then rodents ANYTIME! But then I am a nature woman and my property is a registered Wildlife Habitat so wildlife is always welcomed. I do protect many young plants from the rabbits and some birds.

  5. Wow! Wow! Wow! What a beautiful garden! I can’t imagine people saying there’s too much going on… that is definitely the type of garden I’m going for in the northwest!! Happy Spring! 😎🇨🇦💐

  6. This was such a treat. Lots of green!!! Here in the Great Lakes my perennials are just now coming up. No leaves yet on the trees. The grass is green and better things to come. Please tell me what was the bird that was singing when you were showing us the back garden? The bird song was beautiful. Your gardens have exploded. ENJOYED!!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. I am freakisly afraid of worms and snakes so had to get out of the video… but I am going to try and fast forward and see if its over. Just the beautiful first few seconds of that pouring rain was so cozy. I thought… oh, I am going to enjoy this video. Then said ssssssssssnake appeared and I was outta here. Now I am back in at 11:30 watching with one eye open. I am enjoying your beautiful garden. I am afraid when I am finally relaxed , the next screen shot may be the "you know what!" Whew!!!! Got to the end with no surprises! The garden looks happy after the rain.
