2 phase composter – seeking feedback


I just put together piles for composting kitchen scraps, yard waste, and chicken poop/bedding.

Seeking feedback/ideas for my setup. Should I build a lid for either or both sides?

    Do you have a tarp to cover your compost when it rains?

    A lot fancier than my setup, I’d call it good. I live in the PNW and don’t have a lid on mine, it still gets super hot and never seems soggy. YMMV I guess.

    On edit. Mine is underneath a big beautiful walnut tree though
