So me and my uncle built a raised deck and put our 8×16 greenhouse on it my question is should we have closed the floor rather than using deck board just so ther wasn't constant cool air coming from underneath cause soils to dry out

I think your biggest problem really is the weight of the greenhouse itself, but overall it looks really sturdy and sound. You guys did a great job it looks legit man.
Looks nice and tidy, but not sure if you’ve done a good job of reinforcing it? Looks like it’s pretty empty there, not sure how windy it is in your area.
How did you secure the exhaust fan? Just cut a whole in the poly and screw boards into it? Looking to do the same. Thanks
I’m just concerned they’re will be to much air flow from the bottom gonna dry out mor?
What zone are you in? Short answer is yes, if you live in a cool climate, the floor will be a problem. I see temperate zone trees with no leaves in the background, which makes me believe you’re somewhere above zone 6b. What you’ve basically created here is a shelter from the rain. A big, expensive, clear umbrella that you bolted down. But climate control won’t really be possible unless you add some type of flooring to seal it from air flow. Also, sealing it will stop so many bugs from getting in. But even then, you’ve added a 7th dimension that’s exposed to outside air Temps, so it’ll be more challenging to heat than if you put it on the ground.
Looks great! 👍🏻
Why did you put it on a raised bed to begin with?
Move the GH to the ground.
