It’s been 2 months since I put this sweet potato in water, but it hasn’t grown any roots. Should I keep waiting?
I have it in front of a window, so it gets about 4 hours of direct sunlight a day. I change the water weekly.
I did notice at first mold would grow in the water around the sweet potato, and I’d rub it off when I changed the water. There still is a little mold but less than there was the first couple of weeks.

  1. Legparalyzed

These are called slips. Carefully remove them and plant in soil. Each will develop into a sweet potato plant

  2. Wrap the jar in tin foil to keep out the light.
