This bird of paradise is my first plant, I repotted it a few weeks back in a deeper pot because roots where growing out of the bottom.
I chose a deeper pot thinking she’ll leave me alone for a few month, but she’s already growing out of it ! What do I do ? Re-repot ? Let it be ?
2nd picture is the new pot vs the old pot size.
Water almost weekly (when first few inches of soil dry), right by a south facing window.

Leave for a good while and then repot to twice the size and width at least. Maybe 30 litres. They need to stay in the same pot and thrive for a while.
You might wanna look at how large these get lol. You’re going to need a bigger pot.
Roots poking out from the bottom of the pot doesn’t necessarily mean it needs a repot. The roots will sometimes find their way out.
The best way to check if it needs a repot is to wiggle the plant out of the pot and check the whole root ball. Based on seeing no other roots reaching the bottom of the pot, it’s not due for a repot anytime soon. I recommend getting a pot that’s wider next time though (by 1-2 inches)
What care do you give to your plant? Just curious bc i want to get one too!

If water sits in a dish below the pot the roots will go searching for it.
