  1. Are you not using the 70% rubbing alcohol in the water & dish soap spray anymore? If not, why? (I JUST watched that video, so that's why I'm asking). I am an absolute beginner and I am getting so confused. Also, can I just preemptively spray everything with garlic water or something to keep the aphids away? They give me the creeping willies and make me itch just thinking about them. 😀Thanks in advance!

  2. I never comment but your videos make me smile! I love your sense of humor
, your singing, your frolicking, your garden! New favorite channel ❤🌱 and my new favorite saying, "What the hellebore?!" 😂❤

  3. I love how you are always trying new things and inventing novel ways to garden. Keep up the good work!

  4. Happy Easter Crane! Thanks for sharing your mistakes, I've learned so much! Tell Jason he is a Superman for tackling all that English Ivy….wow that root was massive.

  5. I love your channel and your happiness makes me smile. So fun to watch you and get ideas from! Thank you for sharing your talent and humor with us!

  6. Hi Crane, some years I have a really bad aphid infestation on my yarrow. I just ordered a quart of Botaniguard from Arbico Organics. I also ordered the Garlicguard. I'll let you know if they work. I garden organically and the soapy water hasn't worked for me with aphids.

  7. The peat pots work very good for me. No sign of transplantation shock, no messing with losing soil, and having their roots exposed. Poor Jason with your never-ending list and the end of the video 😂

  8. Personally I’m not a fan of the cardboard pots. In the past I use to cut toilet paper rolls in 1/2 and filled them with potting soil and place them on a flat tray, a cheap recycling option. I seen on Shark Tank, a lady invented cow manure pots.
    Another great video Crane:)

  9. Your coworkers cardboard pots look much better than the thick ones I have purchased before. I’m curious about how the thinner cardboard will break down! I’ve always looked down on cardboard pots too, but I am dying for another non-plastic method 🙊.

So fun to watch you plant veggies, Crane! I hope you & Jason are enjoying the long weekend 😊❤️

  10. Hi Crane. Gardening is so much fun and inspiring with you. Jason is so lucky to have you , and you to have him. You make a great team. About aphids in your plants. Another way to get ride of them from your pots and not hurt your babies is to pass the leaves upside down under the water tap in the sink and let the water wash them away. Hold the top of the soil with your fingers so the soil doesn’t fall out. You could also us a gentle spray from the spray gun out side. Repeat in a few days if necessary. If you spray with soapy water I have found that rubbing alcohol in the water is also very effective on mature plants, not sure about babies though. Those are little tricks I use. My 97 year old mom lives at home and has a solarium. I’ve been taking care of her bug issues this way. I absolutely love your trench method. It eliminates the use of plastic pots. You are so intuitive and clever. I hope you are financially rewarded for making these videos because I don’t want you to stop. You don’t bla bla bla your way with none interesting info, you go right to the point by doing it in front of our eyes as you explain. This is a winning method Crane. I love it.❤ Happy Easter! Hope the bunnies don’t eat your baby lettuces 😊

  11. holy smokebush! you and jason are working so hard in the garden! ❤ ☀️🤩 and love the list at the end – no cost at all!!! 😂😂😂

  13. I learned about using scotch tape around your finger to pull off aphids. Have you tried it? It works pretty well!

If they’re really bad then I take them outdoors & spray them.
