I look out the window and see this, would you change anything?

I’d remove anything non-native to your location – especially anything invasive – and plant more of whatever *is* native to your location.
Since you’re asking 😁.

Panama, Bocas del Toro, no idea what zone but everything grows like crazy!

It’s beautiful. I would take out anything invasive if it’s there. If you don’t have to mow, I’d probably leave it as is and add natives throughout whenever I felt like it.

I’d replace the non-native lawn grass with native grasses and wildflowers

I would do the lasagna method and then mix every even *slightly* edible (NON INVASIVE) together with dirt and spread it over everything to see what grows best where, then during the next season let the annuals re-seed themselves/replant where each plant seemed to like, and figure out where to plant bulbs, tubers, bushes, trees, and already developed perennials based on what annuals they like, then start developing your cute little cottagecore food forest based on that! Maybe even get some arborosculpture going on in there 🤩🤩
At least that’s my dream permaculture forest/native plant garden, and you DID ask what I would plant lol
