Leaves on my dracaena corn plant turning translucent yellow?
I've checked for pests, checked to see if she was root bound or had root rot and none of that seems to be the culprit. She's in a north east facing window that gets morning light. Any ideas? I'm stumped.
A) Soil looks extremely moisture retentive. In my experience they don’t enjoy sitting too long in moist medium. I amended mine with perlite and chunky orchid bark to improve drainage.
B) Not sure the impact of having pothos in the same pot. I see this a lot but unsure if it’s as bad for the Dracaena as it appears. They may be competing for nutrients.
C) Lastly, beware direct sunlight after it having been indoors. I’ve burned the leaves on mine in the past. I wouldn’t wish that on anyone else. Good luck.

Both plants look like they need more light. How long does it take for the soil to dry out between waterings?
