My TBM-A graft failed should I just plant it or is there anyway to save it?

Did the same shit with my first TBM-A. I’d honestly chop it about 2” up from the bottom and graft it upside down. The rest i’d either graft and see if it pushes new areoles or plant and use it as a strong ass root stock.

Do an impale graft through the side with some pere or cut it in half and safe the piece with no areole for scientific purposes and butt graft the upside down piece with the areoles to some grandi or PC

If you can successfully get it to graft it’ll likely grow the fastest.

But if you drop that in some shaded perlite mix it’ll probably put out roots and grow on its own. It might etoliate a little in that time.
