So I went away for a month and left my plant out to be watered by my housemates. I came back last night and it looked terrible. I only bought the plant 6 months and ago and it's my first ever plant. One of my housemates emptied the water sitting at the bottom of the pot and my Australian housemate said that if we put it in the airfryer, we can save it. It now looks like that… Apparently I was “chucking a wobbly” and needed to “ease up turbo” according to my Australian housemate. Is it going to be okay? Please help. 1 don't trust him. Also I think it's some sort of fern, not too sure? Sorry, I know I'm a bad plant dad 🙁

    Looks a little dry

You should try growing it outside! Just throw it out of a window and watch it tumble around in happiness at its newfound freedom as it scatters its seeds around. I’m sure it’s not invasive and everyone in your community would love to see more of this plant 😊

Yeah nah mate she’s fine, just chuck her outside and she’ll be right.

Maybe ask your Mexican roommate for tips and keep it away from your Siberian roommate

Might be overwatering. Light it on fire to see if that helps.

Looks like my lawn (Phoenix, Arizona)!

I went out of town for a month and my landscaper was supposed to water my lawn!

The plant: “I am not dead this is just the way I look!”
