It must be so tough to go through that, I feel for you my friend. What I do k ow from watching your channel for many years is that any animal that finds itself on your farm is quite lucky to be under the stewardship of you and Miah. I don’t pretend to understand God’s plan, but I do believe he placed Winnie in your care because that is where she was meant to be. Sending love and prayers.
Your babies are so pretty! Not sure I'd be able to re-home them! ❤️
Sorry for your loss. Thank you for the updates 😊
I am so very sorry about Vinnie.😢 🫂🫂🫂 Jess.
Jess, we have had to put a doe down before too and it is devastating. So sorry, but when you do everything you know to do and the vet is trying too, it's hard. Your goats are in such great shape and they are so pretty. I love goats. They are just so cool! :). So very sorry about Winnie. She lives on in her babies. Sending you hugs. 💗
Man Jess, that's a hot day to me. It's 70 something here and I'm dying. Thankfully it's going back down, but I don't know how you do it. I'm a northerner through and through lol
We lost a beautiful pinto called Sugarfoot. It was ill treatment by the trainer. We were new to the area.
Jess, sometimes the vets make mistakes, too. And, if Winnie was struggling with health problems–could she show early signs of aging? Its good to give the benefit of the doubt. The questions are why sone if is stick with papered goats and other livestock.
Oh Jess
Big hugs
Her last gift of love to you were her 3 babies. ❤❤❤❤
❤❤
You're a great goat mamma🥰
It's so sad when you lose animals. Any time I lose a pet I tell myself, no more animals! Well I have more animals. It's amazing Winnie made it through triplets, what a trooper, and what a gift those babies are!
I'm really sorry about Winnie 😢
I too have experienced the loss of loved animals when two of our cats, who lived very long and happy lives, succumbed to age and disease and I had to put them down. It is heartbreaking but as you say, not only merciful but part of the circle of life. May your heart heal as the days go by and you smile more and more because of the three gifts that Winnie left you.
I'm so sorry for your loss. You gave her a good retirement. I know you two were bonded. Hearts are heavy when they hurt. 😞🫂💜
😉 I would definitely keep Trixie.
Awh I am sorry lady and to the rest of the family. However, I am so glad Winnie was with you for that last stage. I can’t think of another family better for her to live out her last days with. In other news we just got our 4.5 acres with a house. With us being in the Augusta area I might need to see about buying some sheep from yall eventually maybe. 😂😂😂. We need to build good fences first but boy coffee time has changed to day dreaming of projects.
I live in Central Georgia but I just came back home from visiting my momma in Central Illinois where it was 40 to 55 degrees everyday with high winds! I the then come back to Georgia where it's been 80+ everyday! Kinda makes me miss Illinois! 😊
oh man.. thats heartbreaking, whiney was pretty cool…R.I.P Whiney , the babies are adorable!… so sorry for the loss tho,
Jess I’m so sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing your life with us. ❤Prayers

I have a set of C.S. Lewis' books, that include….. 'The Great Divorce.' > I have not read them all…..yet.
💛
I'm so sorry for your loss, I was SO relieved as well, that it wasn't something that could be passed on to the kids. Condolences.
In 2000 a university in KY was doing a study treating cancer patients with milk from CAE positive goats. any idea what the results of that?
Hi Jess, I am so sorry for your loss. I admire your wanting to think the best of everyone giving the benefit of doubt to mal intent…. But what legitimate breeder forgets the age of his stock? Did he forget that he bred her into the ground for over 10 years and forget to tell that fact to the Soward's? Something smells rotten like goat-mill operation. I watch too many rescue videos to give this so called 'show breeder' this kind of grace. I love your heart & I love your love! 💖❣
Awwww, so sorry for you and your family 💔🙏
🫂 I'm sorry to see and hear the struggle. I'm sorry for Whinnie too ❤️🩹 may get legacy's live healthy lives.
What age would be good to stop breeding a goat?
You live what you preach, good stewardship. I've watched you for 5 years and enjoy spending the time learning and listening. You give a honest picture of what your life is like and I appreciate that.
Sorry for your loss. 💔
Thanks for sharing your real life & knowledge! So sad for your loss of Winnie; she’s not suffering anymore. Blessings 🤗🇨🇦🌻
Why have you not contacted the breeder and discussed her age with him?
Thank you for sharing…praying for the Lord's peace to be yours…loss is always tough…love to watch you with your goats…❤
I’m so sorry about Winnie. I really liked her sassy personality. You did the right thing. Even how hard that must of been for you. 💕
I’m sorry for your loss and that you needed to make that very understandable decision. Situations like this are definitely the hardest parts of dairy farming. I have 30 goats and every one of them has a name and their own personality, tears are shed with every loss.
