Can You Guess the Generation by Their Yard | Fun Garden Challenge.

Gardening Through the Ages | Guess the Homeowner’s Generation.

Welcome to a fun and nostalgic game | Guess The Generation of the Homeowner Based On Their Front Yard | Garden.

Gardening trends have evolved over the decades | but many gardens still hold on to the charm of their era. From classic | vintage gardens to modern minimalist yards | every front yard tells a story of its generation.

In this video | I take a fun guess at which generation owns each garden. And don’t worry | when Gen Z finally has their dream homes | affordable housing | please. they’ll be part of the game too.

I love all gardens | as long as there’s nothing invasive growing in there.

  1. My millennial ass was thinking about installing a black iron fence…to match my black iron barred windows.
My snapdragons and rose bushes are growing in well though and already prepping marigolds for fall.
lmao, I dunno, but this is funny!

  2. In NJ, it’s the millennials who have the most sterile landscaping with all the same, overdone (and non-native) plants and ornamental trees and shrubs. Bradford pear, burning bush and hydrangeas, Japanese maple and Kwanzan cherries. Those stella d’oro daylilies framed by Russian sage. Here it’s the boomers and the Gen Xers who do the interesting native plants, vegetables, fruits, and larger gardens. Truly, the millennials cannot be bothered with anything like maintenance. They leave that for the landscapers, which down here, are Legion.

  3. Born from 1928 to 1945. Born during the Great Depression and World War II, because of their silent and civic instincts.

  4. keep this one uo. it’s your nitch. tell us wha you think it is and then knock on their doors to find out. it would be funny and i’m sure a sweet interaction about why they made their yard that way ❤😂🎉
