I planted micro clover a year and a half ago, so this is its second summer. I’ve been letting it go to see how tall it gets and it’s 8+ inches in the middle. Is this typical for micro clover?

I’m loving how fluffy and lush my yard looks, but I wish it would grow more evenly. It’s still patchy. Suggestions?

Looks like some normal clover got mixed into your micro. Micro shouldn’t be that tall. But, if it’s green, growing, and doesn’t need much maintenance, all the better. Could easily just mow that spot down with mower on highest setting and mulch mode once a month if you’d like.

I don’t know why I can’t edit this post. I forgot to add that I am in zone 7b and these are photos of small suburban front yard with a stepping stone path and mounds of fluffy clover in the foreground. A weedy garden and porch railing are in the background.
