Should I flush the plant out with a lot of water and let it drain completely? I watered it a few days ago, and the soil is still moist, so I might run the risk of overwatering, but I'm not sure if that's better. The first picture is where I think she sprayed. I cleaned off the root with some water but I think it already got a bit damaged. The second pic is just for reference for how healthy it actually is.

She only sprayed it a few times, and it's a fairly small bottle that's kind of broken, so I question how much got in there, but it definitely happened.

What a beast of a philo!

I’d rinse it off by spraying with just water and hope for the best…maybe cover the soil so it doesn’t get soaked.

FLUSH, rinse leaves/stem & repot. Should be fine.

Depends on the detergent, if it’s soap then just rinse the plant off. Anything with other chemicals like bleach you should give it a good wash and replace the dirt if you’re super worried.

Put it in a bathtub or shower and flush the solution through the dirt, waterboard that bitch.

It should be fine. Most detergents are not super toxic to plants.
