Here is what remains of my spider plant after my cats decided to go to town on my spider plant that I got this past weekend. I know it should have been in a hanging basket, but I haven’t had a chance to go and buy one yet (had been planning to go on Friday and had been keeping the door closed to the room the plant was in… but of course the one time I forgot, they made their move on the poor thing.

Is there ANYTHING I can do at this point?

It’s in spot on a window sill where it gets light for a few hours a day in the morning and then indirect light the rest of the day.

I haven’t had it long enough to water it.

That looks like what’s left of a dracaena, not a spider plant?

I am no help but I came here to say the all you can eat buffet line is hilarious 😂 And very typical cat shenanigans

One of my cats has helped herself to my spider plants too. I remember reading somewhere that they have a narcotic effect on felines.

I can see how you thought this was a spider plants but I agree with the comment above that it’s a dracaena. You can confirm if it never shoots out little babies at the end of its leaves. Otherwise, the progress may be slow but it should grow back. Best of luck! 🤞🏽
