This is a job of ours you would have seen before where we previously build this brick wall with weather struck pointing and were just waiting for the custom coping and pier caps!

These pier caps were the last piece of the puzzle and now they’ve been laid this job has been a complete transformation of this front garden!

We did this landscaping job over the weekend and had some interesting comments about weather struck pointing about if it’s the best look for this brick work.

Let us know what you think??🤔

CHECK OUT: We’ve just release our FIRST Episode of our Weekly Waffle Series where we run through a weeks work at a new project we’ve just started. Stay tuned each week for the progress and transformation updates!!

  1. I'm not a fan of weatherstruck pointing but you done a proper job and it looks decent!! Flush joint with lime would also look good with that brick.

  2. Thats a mess mate, id walk pass that every day and wonder why the pointing was a different colour.

  3. Don’t like it sorry, it looks like you ran out of the other colour and just made do with what ever you could find. Also the last few bricks look like the end of a batch. Shame as the rest of the job looks great. If it was mine I’d want it redone personally so it matches the rest of the wall.

  4. You've got some right re ta rd s in your comments mate i get what you mean. (Pointing dries and it will all match you numpties)
