Hi! I'm a school custodian and one of the teachers in my hall has this plant. What is it called? Is it supposed to look like this? It kinda looks like it's growing new plants. Like it's propagating itself lol

That looks like the world’s happiest spider plant. The babies mean it’s doing really well. My spider plant is tiny and looks like crap compared to this one lol.

Spider plant, it’s supposed to do that! Those little offshoots are kinda it’s babies, also know as “pups”.

  3. Spider plants ❤️ I can’t grow those 🤷‍♀️ That one is huge!

    Spider plant! So pretty!

You can trim off the runners (the long straight sections with a clump of leaves at the ends) and pop them into water to get new plants too.

That is a glorious spider plant, one of the most underrated houseplants imo

That’s definitely a spider plant! They have their little “babies” which you can soak in water for a couple weeks then replant!
It looks like it’s growing pretty well for the most part 🌿

Judging by the trajectory of the sun and moon, if an apple flies out of a window at 36 MPH it’s a spider plant.

In my country we call these “baby in mothers lap”!
