The plum tree is exquisite!!
Thanks for the video, it helped me out what I needed to do. What about the chick?
👍🥰🇨🇦
Obs terra aonde cima buraco de ainda 😕🤥 raizes.
Looking fabulous 🐰🌸🦋
I am really envious of the lilacs. It’s one thing that do so well in the places I spent most of my life and now I miss so much in Oklahoma since I’ve been here. I know my new Oklahoma friends will probably say, “we have lilacs”. But no, we really don’t. If you do ever see one, it’s sickly and barely blooms. Also they are some weird variety that doesn’t even come close to the ones I’m used to.
Why don't you terrace your hill, like your parents did with theirs? More space for plants??
So beautiful Laura and Aron! ❤️🌸🌳
What were the purple flowers in front of where you planted the Shade master Honeylocust?
Bethany pop in and pop up in video!!
Douglas,
You look good on that big rock. Someone needs to take a picture of you in that background and place your photo 📸 on the mantle.
Plant a tree in back of the fire place. Maybe Lilacs.
Buenos días. Que hermoso trabajo de embellecer el jardín de tu propiedad.
Well, I am green with envy today because you are planting dogwoods and lilacs and I am one zone too hot to grow them here.😢😢😢
Hello all! Thank you for another wonderful video Laura! I am wondering what to do if you have a clematis and have no idea what variety it is to know what pruning it needs. My grandfather recently passed and when we went to his property to see what needed to be done in his garden, we came across a clematis, but we have no idea what kind it is! Do we just ride it out this year and see what happens and try to figure out what it is, cut it down and let it flush out fresh and start over, or meet in the middle and cut it to 18” and see what happens? It’s a bit gnarly looking right now! Any advice would be greatly appreciated! 🥰
I had a little trouble figuring out where you were planting at the beginning of the video today. Could you show a sweep of the area when you plant so we know where you are? Sometimes I can figure it out, but it took me a while today. Thanks.
Thanks to your inspiration, my clematis is now pruned and my roses are too (somewhat). What a joy Spring is!
I think you, your mom and the kids sprinkled all the poppy seeds down the slope?
The shade master honey locust placement looks good there too fill that space again. However, they can get HUGE. Is there any concern being close to the house? I also love purple robe locusts… so pretty!!
Great video but oh my, the ads are way too often now. I know you don’t have control over the ads but the number of them have dramatically increased. As a Senior, on a limited income, I can’t afford to pay for YouTube premium. It is just frustrating as I love your channel so much and watch you everyday. Happy Tuesday! 👋😁
Are those pipes active? Can you have a survey done so you see where everything is?
Love your videos! Thank you for giving so much practical info and advice. We have tried two times to grow the purple locust in our yard in Central Oregon. Lost both of the trees and found out they break easily in windy areas because the wood is soft (consequence of growing fast). I hope you have a better experience…they are so beautiful!
How are the new chicks doing?
Cool.🌳
The music is beautiful at the rose pruning near chicken coup.😊
I received my purple kneeling pad today. I LOVE IT! Thank you Laura! Now, on to the star of the day, Douglas! He is just such a gorgeous kitty. 😻 Thanks again. Laurel.
Hey Laura why don’t you plant your future Christmas tree saplings for the house and the greenhouse at the bottom of your hillside?
Hi beautiful Trees! But aren't you afraid of the suckering rootsystem of the purple lobe locust? I read it can become invasive if not regularly kept in control, good be a huge maintenance problem.
Always a great watch! ❤ Laura you should plant the whole slope with hardy perennials like russian sage, echnacea, yarrow. It will make it look pretty and like your local hill areas.
The sound of running water in the first part of your video sounds so peaceful.
Love it all 😊
I love the Honey Locust structure. Beautiful!
Can a lilac be grown in a large pot continuously?
Can you tell me more about the Plum tree? Not because of my last name! Ha Ha! But it's blooms are gorgeous! Does it bare fruit? How big does it get? I'm always plugging ideas away for my yard! Fun! Thanks! & hugs from Central Illinois (Peoria)!!!
What are your plans for the hill? I worry about erosion . Maybe throw handfuls of native wildflowers on it. That would be wonderful .💜🌻
Wondering if you broke your normal camera. I've noticed the last two videos aren't at the regular video quality. Everything looks lovely!
I love the sound of the running water as you planted your lilac! So peaceful that I would want to just sit and relax. Beautiful trees and shrubs you planted today
Thank you for some music free planting with Laura! Nice to hear the birds or the pond.
reminder to get the big sunflower moved
I’m waiting for the day you tear the chimney/fireplace down! Lol
Is the locust invasive? I live in MA and locusts will take over a whole lawn around here.
Why don’t you guys have any magnolias in your garden? They are beautiful and remind me of my nanas garden. However, they may require slight acidic soil. Maybe in a pot? I think you would love!
Hi. How are you going to stabilize that slope at the back?
Douglas on pride rock! Hi from Australia garden is looking amazing .. fountain .. trees .. hard to believe it was under snow not long ago!
We need more antique shopping videos!!! Love them!
Still suggest a collapsible, light wagon would assist carrying tools, fertilizer and plants from the gator. At least this ol' lady needs a wagon!
I'm replacing overgrown forsythia with dogwoods bc I'm CT and our winters are long. I've been debating between red twig or yellow twig. You sold me on yellow because it's more vibrant. 💛Question: Is there a difference in their growth habit? It looks like the red is more upright, while the yellow is more rounded. Or is that just the way it was or wasn't pruned? Also, how is their fall color?
Thank you Laura, for taking the time to describe the height and width of things inn the area of what you are currently planting today…I live in amongst a massive construction area just now and expect things planted will not mature in my lifetime ( I'm 70) but you paint such a clear picture with pointing and waving that I am learning a lot about how to "picture" the new things that will be planted! SUch an encouragment…thanks!!
I remember when you put those trellises up😍 You have way more area to plant things these days 👍🏻
dont think I have ever seen you wear gloves!!
