I have this space between two potato shoots. I planted these potatoes about a foot deep on March 3rd so still have a ways to go before harvest. Think I can safely put anything between them? by kelce container gardening 1 Comment Earthbound_Quasar 6 months ago I stole this from Copilot so if I were you I’d verify these before planting. “For companion planting with potatoes, consider the following plants: Legumes: Such as bush beans and peas, which help fix nitrogen in the soil. Alliums: Including onions, garlic, and chives, which can deter pests. Brassicas: Like cabbage and kale, which have shallow root systems and won’t compete with potatoes. Horseradish: Known to repel pests and diseases. Nasturtiums: These can attract beneficial insects and deter aphids. These companion plants can enhance the growth of potatoes and help protect them from pests and diseases. “ Write A CommentYou must be logged in to post a comment.
