This my first African violet. I’ve got many succulents, so Ive tried different soil mixes, lots of light, lower light, top watering bottom watering. I got a tiny burst of growth in the middle a few months ago and thought I was on track, then the leaves started turning color. This picture makes the plant look better/more green than it is.

What can I do to help this little dude?

Tell me about your soil mixture and what’s all over her leaves? What do you suspect is going on?

The outer leaves are severely damaged – cold water maybe, or sunburn? Sometimes a spray will burn leaves too. The leaves will not recover, so depending on what’s going on with her, you may need to remove them. I’m encouraged by her center crown, it looks like she may be trying to recover.

I had the same issue and I collect succulents as well. I thought AV’s were easier but I’ve had a little trouble. I’ve done all the things youve done too. My mini variegated AV rotted recently and my standard is bouncing back but not 100%. I just got my watermelon snow today so I’m crossing my fingers I have better luck with it. I’m going to pot them in self watering pots and maybe add more perlite to my mix (im using peat moss and perlite). Lighting I’m still figuring out. I use growlights and I recently learned less lighting (but not too little of course) will increase the variegation. Hope you figure it out!!

Just get some AV soil and a smaller pot to start. Some AV fertilizer might help as well.
