Good morning from WI.
I encourage everyone to let the commercials play. It brings a little bit of income to the channel.
Hi from South Florida Kaye. 🌴A windscreen on your microphone would greatly help audio on these breezy days.💨 Just a thought. Have a blessed day!🙏🌺
Love, love it all Kaye. (I made a Purple Dead Nettle tincture the other day.) Wish I had some of your Fleabane.💚🌸🌸💚
A tip I learned from an old-timer years ago: Check the Walnut and Mimosa trees. If they have not gotten leaf buds there will still be a frost or a freeze. To date, our Walnuts and Mimosa trees have not leafed out so I'm not planting any frost sensitive plants such as tomatoes and peppers. I live in SW Missouri and we have A LOT of Walnut trees.
When you talk about “Wild Bergamot”, is that the same as Bee-Balm? I love mine. Gorgeous flowers.
Well the cats prove once again the source of your poison ivy. OMG You're going to have to lick your entire body before I can pet you. LOL Thanks for the garden updates and the on going progress. Hope you have a blessed week…
Wow, I think the gardens look lovely! Can’t wait to see the growth over the summer of the new grapes. Love the choice of music at the end.
Concerning your wash away from the rains. Have you considered raised beds or steppes in the landscape to help reduce erosion?
Hey Kaye – everything is really starting to take off. Could you tell me where you purchased the green "clips" you are using on your grapevine? Thanks and regards.
Already such beautiful gardens! Can't wait to see how your grapes do, we are planning on putting in grapes next year, so loving the tips. Love your herb gardens and wildflowers, so inspiring. I bet big pharma doesn't like your info! Of course everyone should, like you said, do their own research. Great info, lovely gardens, love the music at the end, perfectly fitting! Love the channel, love you my friend. Looking forward to this season. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Everything looks beautiful. I hope the poison Ivy is almost gone from your arms.
BJ is such a cutie patootie to accompany you out on your garden tour. I don’t know about anyone else but when the you-know-what hits us with the you-know-what here in the U.S. I plan to point my car west to make my way to your area as I really believe you will weather the “storm” easily, especially with all that knowledge you have in your head! How’s your poison ivy rash coming? I had never heard of an example where a kitty rubbed up against poison ivy and then her “master” gets the rash from petting her. Would the cat suffer ill effects from licking her fur which she has rubbed against the poison ivy? Would a few damp paper towels or kitty “cleaning” cloths remove the “poison ivy” from Bj’s fur? Just a brainstorming here. Your garden looks like it’s off to a great start! Godspeed, Kaye!
I love spring. Everything is waking up and the air smells so good. Great video, Kaye.
"Spring is such a beautiful time of year, but it always reminds me of death". My Grannie used to say that. She left me in March. Remember, nearly 2000 years ago our Savior Yeshua the Messiah, the only begotten Son of YHVH God laid dead in a tomb on this Passover day having paid a horrible price for our sins. May our resurrected living Yeshua return very soon!
I have planted Bantam Golden Sweet Corn in my native soil garden patch where I last had snap and snow peas. Also put in some Sunflowers of a different type (Mongolian Giant) and three zucchini and crookneck yellow squash seedlings (planted an extra in a pot so did not want that individual and put it into the ground. The indoor seedlings may get transplanted next two days (Bush Beefsteak tomatoes, Roma tomatoes, and a lot of sweet and mildly hot peppers plus three Mammoth Dill. Hummingbirds here now too as are Curved Bill Thrashers, Northern Mockingbirds, House Finches and Sparrows plus occasional visits from Crows and rarely, Ravens. Busy yards here. Lots of work here like in your wonderful yards Kaye. So far, no bad bugs, too other than previous aphids on the Bok Choy. I am jealous about your Wild Bergamot (Menarda).
