Go slow! It’s easy to go overboard because plants aren’t necessarily as “needy” as other hobbies/pets, but it’s still
Important to build a routine and an understanding of what your plants like before going out and buying more. Plants are “simple”, but they’re not always “easy.” Just like any living thing, plants communicate in their own way, and it’s important to learn their language if you plan on growing with them!
Also, the urge to buy more plants will always be around, but be sure that you buy plants that are aligned with your lifestyle and skill level! I stay away from high-maintence plants because I’m often working/traveling/out and about and I dont want to burden someone with complex plant care if I’m not going to be around.
Have fun! And if you ever need help there are wonderful communities here on Reddit and online that can help you!!

They have all different care types especially the succulent.
Inform yourself for each plant individually, there is a lot on yt for example.
Prepare to need to repot them soon into a biger pot with better soil which again the succulent needs a different kind of mix.
Generally if you inform yourself, give them love and attention and check up on them more than once a week. They tend to do well.
People that let plants in a spot and just water them once in a while Generally get bad results.
Happy planting 😊 🌿

Accept that sometimes your family dies, and it’s the circle of life. You just replace them.
