I got this African violet at a plant swap about a month ago now. It was originally very light green all over and had one lingering bloom. Since then, it's markedly less floppy and generally a much darker green (the only real improvements).

Most leaves at the base have turned entirely translucent, not rotting or thin, just all the chlorophyll is seemingly gone. Then the leaves closer to the crown got similar translucent edges and streaks in the center. New growth has minor similar blemishes. There is lots of new growth.

I originally thought this was lightning striking, formed from rehydration revealing damage. But it seems more pervasive than just this. I also thought nutritional deficiency, so I've been twice weekly watering with appropriately diluted Jack's African violet food/fertilizer. It shouldn't be too much fertilizer at this point, but I did recently run filtered water through the pot from the top to cleanse any salt buildup.

I've trimmed off maybe 5 bottom leaves that have gone fully translucent. It's in at least a 4" pot now and I'm loathe to go bigger.i keep it in a humid area with trays of water on stones. Should I be adding dissolved Epsom salt water? Anything else I can try?
