Got my first BH yesterday, first pic. I live in OR, and the store had them outside, I got home and left it inside for the night, didn’t take it out in the morning like I planned.
I watered it once last night because it was fairly dry.
Left it in a room with moderate LED light over it.
We went out for a couple hours and the heater was left on by accident, BH was about 6 feet away from a vent ðŸ˜
Today, a few hearts started drying, second and third pic.
I put it in a colder room before taking it out tomorrow morning (got an alarm set up for it!!)
Is there anything else I should do for it to help the flowers? There’s no fixing the dry ones right? 😔

Why is it inside at all? It’s basically a spring ephemeral it’s only up and out for a brief period of exceptional beauty. Any house would be far too hot for it at this time of year especially if it was outside and brought in. It will be ok next year so even if it fades quickly ensure you plant it in a nice spot so it can be all it wants to be next spring
