  1. What a beautiful story of soil redemption and reclamation. Clearly the work you put into healing your soil has worked!! That rutabaga…lol

  2. The Saffron looks puny bcuz it is dying back, as it is supposed to.
But also, it likes to be buried deep in the ground, so adding soil is a good move.

  3. I am new to your channel and have been binge watching your content. I love the shorter videos with longer ones mixed in. I am learning so much from you and must admit I am a bit jealous of your garden space. I have a couple Green Stalks and am setting up a Vego planter because my space is very limited. I love your lavender โ€™Rootsโ€™ hoodie. Thatโ€™s my favorite color. God bless you and your family!

  4. โคthat may as well have been a devotional! I wrote down "promise of seeds"-thank you God! Anyway, Bear is a dreamboat and I'm so happy you have each other! Getting excited to do some containers this year, as that is my season ๐Ÿ˜Š thanks for sharing with us!

  5. Your grey streaks are beautiful Jess, I'm getting closer and closer to that age but seeing you rock yours โค give me a boost to rock mine when they come!

  6. I needed to hear that today as its snowing again here in maine and i have over 200 cups of starts going. Trying to get new chicken run done inbetween rain n snow and raising another batch of chicks in living room. The last month has been long, going going going. I really needed a boost today. Thankyouโค

  7. Ooooh, Jess, I love the lilac coloured hoodie that youโ€™re rocking at the 6:10 time stamp. I went to order one immediately but they arenโ€™t available in this colour. Is this colour option no longer available or maybe are you wearing a test sample for an upcoming possibly of an option might be available later?

  8. swede is my fave veg,, i love to just boil it and mash it with butter, just like my potatoes, wish i had some in now lol, its a pain to chop now with my wrists xx

  9. Iโ€™m building my first garden and have been doing a little each day and am about 2/3 of the way through. Unfortunately, I pulled a muscle in my groin three days ago and am so sore and swollen. Fortunately, I do have family that can help me finish it out, but man it really is hard work. Lol! God bless!

  10. Rutabagas, hominy & liver are the worst things I was forced to eat as a child. I will never touch those things ever again!

  11. Jess, I would really appreciate Farmer's Table recipe videos on how you prepare the things that I think I don't like to eat. I would like to like to eat them, I just haven't found a pleasing way to prepare them: rutabaga, turnip, radish, beets. Thank you!
P.S. I was so happy for you to eat those underripe strawberries! Garden treats!

  12. I'm curious how long have you had that greenhouse? The storm blowing it to bits cuz I would think that maybe eventually you would have a storm that would ruin everything. But does the structure stand up or what? Let me know?

  13. Rutabagas can store for a good long time. Like potatoes and other root veggies. Pick them before the warm weather will make them bolt, and you can probably store them up to 3 months, dark and cool.

  14. โคI woke up this morning to snow, rain, a fox trying to get in the coup and our pet pig passed away overnight (15.5 years old). My husband buried her in the yearly pumpkin patch (her favorite food) while it rained so Iโ€™m cooking a special dinner for us tonight. Thank you for this video. I need to get into the freezers to enjoy the last 2 yearโ€™s harvests and clean house before the garden begins to flourish again. ๐Ÿ˜Š

  15. When a person buys strawberries from the big box stores are we to pull off the flowers? I know first year plants were supposed to, but I don't know if from the store if these are first year or 2nd year plants?

  16. Hungry months for sure here in Maine!! It snowed todayโ€ฆ like a few inches.. ๐Ÿ˜‘๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ so ready for REAL spring! Currently sowing more seeds inside under lights. Cannot WAIT for the weather about a month from now

  17. I went through that same storm. It was a gorgeous day for gardening, and then all of a sudden I'd get hit with a downpour that lasted just long enough for me to get back to the house and take off my boots, then the sun would pop back out again. Eventually I just stayed out there in the rain and my husband brought me an umbrella ๐Ÿ™‚

  18. I love rutabagas, too. That is one HUMONGOUS rutabaga! We're almost at outdoor seed starting time here in VT, and I've got tomatoes and peppers and eggplants starting in my indoor plant boxes, so exciting. It's still pretty gray and rainy here, but spring is always a toss-up from day to day. One day, we'll be getting up, and it's going to be 70 degrees, sun shining, and I'll be out in my garden all day! Can't wait!๐Ÿ…๐Ÿ…๐Ÿ…๐Ÿ…๐Ÿ…๐Ÿ…

  19. Jess, you make me smile every time I watch you <3 When you pull something as large as that was, I'm like WOW! LOL ANd I laugh right along with you lol Have a great evening with your friend and enjoy it, after all that, you deserve it! And by the way, I got TIRED just watching you in fast motion LOL At 60, I just don't have THAT in me, but would have loved to at one point in my life. Have a blessed Sunday!

  20. Gardenings just around the corner for me. It's exciting to see the buds opening up on the trees and groundcover turning green.

  21. Bless You and thank you so very much for your time, plus the extra effort you put into these videos.

  22. Is it turmeric in the bed with the crocus? leaf shape looks similar. We had nice weather today so I was clearing the weeds and amending a few beds too. The work feels good and seeing those cleared out beds that are ready and waiting to be filled with plants is so satisfying. Looking forward to the farmers table video

  23. Thank you Jessica… your videos are so encouraging and very appreciated… blessings on you Kiddo!๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ‘ต
