It’ll make the rest of your collection feel basic.

I picked up this wild beauty at a garden trade show and had no idea it would become the star of my plant corner.

Uncarina grandidieri: — A rare gem from Madagascar. Fuzzy leaves. Spiky bark. Mini alien tree vibes.

It’s kind off a Desert Rose, it should we low maintenance. I love this plant!

Thought it was a tomato bonsai for a second 😂

If you had to name this plant, what would you call it? I’ve been calling it “Groot’s Cousin” but open to suggestions.

  5. Beautiful plant, i want one now.

Uncarina grandidieri, family: Pedaliaceae (sesame seed family!) 13 genera, all native to Africa, but this single genus is endemic to madagascar! insanely cool

  6. Oh, I would kill this so quick. Spikey bark. Begging not to be touched. I would touch it. It would hate me.
