This plant (which I don’t know the name of) sits by the window sill, is browning at the bottom and the leaves are brown and crunchy. I can’t tell if it needs water or has root rot as the “soil” is just rocks. Any advice would be appreciated 🙏

  1. looks like callisia repens. they’re pretty hardy, just repot them into some actual succulent soil and give them some water ant they should bounce back

This is a type of tradescantia zebrina. I recommend potting it with a soil mix and not rocks. Leaves turning brown like this around the base are usually a sign of underwatering.
