I would not go back for it because that would be in my cart immediately

  2. DifficultyKlutzy5845

It would be so pretty on my shelf for 1 month before I inevitably kill it

  3. clarenceisacat

Only if I want to feel bad about how quickly I kill calatheas.

  4. Mountain_Conjuror

Yes, but they like humidity. The only way I could keep one is to put it in a terrarium. 🤓

  5. Ventingfungi

Yeah I’d see if I could keep this alive.

Go back for it! I have had calatheas and killed them, so I get your hesitation. However, I have this type and it hasn’t been at all dramatic like other calatheas and is quite happy and so pretty.

Do it. My bf got me one not knowing what it was, it’s huge now

  8. delectable_deliciosa

What store was this!?? I’ve been looking for one this size for a while

Love at first sight !! 🥺 I could never walk away

  10. Sorry_Flower_617

No, but only bc i already have that kind of plant. Otherwise, absolutely, you have to collect at least one of each 🙂

Price is good but it will probably die! JK, it did die with me and I’m usually decent with plants. Not calatheas or maidenhair ferns.

I might. The leaves look great. Nice and healthy. If it’s less than say 25.00$ or under, I might go back to get it.

I had a Rattlesnake plant once. It was beautiful until it wasn’t. The water here at the house is hard. If I used distilled water it did much better.

  13. I would not. But each of us has a ‘type’, mine are odd looking cactus and succulents.

  14. beaniebaby1226

Sorry no. They are super pretty but far too delicate for me

  15. xo0Taika0ox

This entire thread makes me feel so much better about the one I killed.

If you go back for it it changes your charges from second degree to first degree murder.. because you intentionally went back there after you walked away and you know you’re going to kill that plant.

  17. jamey0077

Go for it! Mine looked exactly like that when I got it last year

  18. spilledrealm

My rule is-if I think about it the day after leaving it, I go back and get it.

  19. Crafty-Use-2266

Unfortunately, I’m not a good Calathea mom. I always end up killing them.

  20. JeanetteTheChipette

I have learned my lesson with Calatheas. Never again.

  21. NerfPandas

That one doesn’t look that great, you can find much fuller plants

  22. We have one of these at my job that has been pretty happy for some years now. I didn’t realize they are finicky!
