  1. Aphids are definitely my worst enemy in the garden.. along with those pesky weeds😭. What are your plans for April? Let me know below!!

  2. I'm in a hot region Africa. Winter is hardly that cold. So I'll continue plant and maintain my kitchen greens.

  3. Be kind to myself…Be kind to myself… I am trying! 🀍 April is definitely a busy spring month. We have another 4-5 weeks here in Indiana before our last frost. I am looking forward to getting my roses I ordered. These will be the first roses I’ve ever had in my garden! I also have plans to plant daffodils in some grassy areas this fall. I hope it works for both of us! πŸ’›

  4. My plans for April is to buy mulch on sale, mow the lawn for the first time this year, divide some hostas and plant 8 astilbe. ❀

  5. Or vice versa just plant some sunflowers to shade your original pumpkin patch,or You could pull from the idea of the 3 sisters garden and plant corn as a shading plant and the pumpkin vines would act like a living mulch for the corn.

  6. Oh yeah your idea for the pumpkins planted with the sunflowers reminds me of β€œThe Three Sisters” planting method

Girl I started chuckling about you and the weeds, some of us are so NEW at gardening we don’t even know what is a plant and what is a weed in our own gardens let alone spotting them in your videos lol.

YES, take it easy on yourself lol πŸŒ±πŸ’–πŸŒΈπŸ’•πŸ«ΆπŸ½πŸ˜Š

  7. This is first week of warm weather in my zone 6 to be able to get the planting going. Your garden is beautiful! πŸ‘πŸ»β€οΈ

  8. I ALSO am really nervous about the last spring frost. My zone used to be 5b and now it's 6a so I technically can go earlier but I always always just wait until Mother's day as a rule of thumb for me. I just would HATE to lose all my hard work hahaha

  9. I love watching you in your wonderful garden. I never treat ahids on my roses. The birds (mostly Sparrows) always take care of them. I love watching my little friends doing the work. 🐦 Well I feed them all winter long so they can help me in spring. Can´t they? Have a nice rest of your week. 🐞(Another great helper with Aphids.) Oh and April showers? Lucky you! I wish me some of that. We had the driest March since they startet reporting the weather and April is supposed to be the same here in Germany. I hope they are wrong!

  10. Gardening truly will make you your own worst critic. I almost didn't post a video because my doorway paint was chipped up. Literally no one notices the things we the gardener see. I honestly don't even remember seeing a weed in this video because of all the beauty you have going on in your garden. Ranunculus daffodils and budding roses πŸ’š

  11. Gardening is certainly a learning process, full of success and failure. As you said, failure is a good thing, especially when we learn from it. I'm glad your garden isn't always perfectly weeded because that's real life gardening, and I appreciate your transparency. I find weeding very therapeutic. Oh, and on the pumpkin patch… my friend grows a big patch for her grand kids every year and there are no organized rows. She tosses the seeds in and it's a huge, tangled mess but it is successful every year. Go for it! Plant by the sunflowers and see what happens. Happy growing!!!

  12. It looks gorgeous out there with your daffodils everywhere. Im waiting on new dahlia tubers being delivered soon from Sarah Raven, they’re my favourite to grow and cut. Love your advice, one step at a time 😊
