You planted the zucchini too close to each other…They really spread out. We learned that the hard way when we first stated home garden.

Hey guys, you have a beautiful yard and are doing such great work! Maybe a heads up to ask someone about having the wood up against the stucco. You may need a barrier to prevent water damage/rot/mold to the stucco siding. Can't wait to see all the veggies and fruit you get!

❤We bought our first home two years ago at the ripe age of 65 and it’s a townhouse with a small yard so I had to get creative with planting. I got Walla Walla onions, carrots, leeks, scallions, beets but I really wanted zucchini. So on my razed bed I put a lattice at the back and it will climb it because I don’t have much room. So my reason for mentioning the lattice is because you bought a lot of zucchini I believe you might run out of room and it will spill out over your sidewalk and on to the lawn as it gets big. So I would suggest thinking of putting up a lattice at the back of your bed 😌❤

You might consider training the squash to grow vertically. Squash will spread out and take over! I saw a video by Epic Gardening, who is based out of San Diego. He has a YT video on growing squash vertically and in that same video, training an already spread out squash plant to grow vertically (basically tying it to a conduit pipe). I haven't tried this, but plan to this year since it looks like a great idea. Thanks again for your channel! Feel like it brings a sense of normalcy for all in these chaotic times.
