Around a week ago some leaves in the middle of my money tree started yellowing in this splotchy pattern and then falling. I water only when the soil is almost completely dry (when my moisture meter reads a little moist at the very bottom). It sits next to north-facing windows in indirect sunlight. Please help, what am I missing!

Has it ever been repotted? A lot of farms that create Money Trees bind the trunks of the trees together with rubber bands to create that spiraled look but in the long run that can suffocate that plant. Mine had this issue and once i removed those it started to thrive again
Feel the base trunks of each tree & see if they’re squishy or soft, if so you could be dealing with possible rot. Mine had 4 trees in all but 2/4 were rotted at the trunk so i got rid of them and the two that were fine are growing new branches
