Take it out of the pot and check how large the roots are. They do grow rather quickly. Please choose a pot with drainage holes next.

The roots showing above the soil doesn’t necessarily mean it needs a re-pot. If you’re wondering if it does, you need to look at the root ball and see if there’s more roots than substrate. You can wiggle it out of the pot to check this. Spider enjoy being a little snug in their pots though.
Some of my spider plants roots are showing above the soil but I just leave them and it’s never caused any issues! 🙂
