Today on Tool Tuesday: I couldn’t help myself. We saw this at Costco and it just looked so fun! Lily has tried to push my wheelbarrows around but they are still a bit big for her. … maybe a lot big for her. Also kids gardening tools are usually so cheaply made that whenever I see something that looks like it might work as an actual tool and last more than one session in the garden, I usually buy it. So when I saw this Stanley Jr Kids Wheelbarrow and Garden Tool set, I had to get it for her. It looks so cool! And it looks like it might actually last. The barrow is thick plastic, with wooden handles and a solid rubber wheel – way better than the cheap all plastic garbage kids usually get for gardening “tools”. The hand tools could be better, but on the whole, this set is worth the money as I think it will actually last for a long while.

  1. Wow! Great job with assembly of the wheelbarrow! A wheelbarrow will come in really handy to move all kinds of tthings.Lily is getting to be a smart engineer. Learning to read and follow instructions is important.
Just a suggestion, Lily might put together her own tool bag to keep het tools in. Putting those tools in her apron leaves the pointy ends up- a potential stabbing hazard when she swings hers arms and hands around, or trips and falls on them.โคโคโค
