  1. Laura, if you can put your food and water in a raised level (maybe a cookie drying sheet or something similar) and a few bricks for them to walk up, it will help keep your water clean for a much longer time.

  2. Can I move iris in the spring and still get them to bloom this year? I'm making a new garden bed and wanted to move them last fall but just ran out of time

  3. The little chicks are just adorable! As is the excitement of the kids! Benjamin proudly carrying them home. Great confidence booster for him taking on responsibility. I get it forgetting where you plant things. I was fertilizing my lawn today, finished up and COULD NOT remember if I did a certain section.( Still can't recall) Tomorrow is a winter mix, then a warm up, so hoping my fertilizer gets watered in good. Can't wait for our weekend, 60!!!! degrees!

  4. P.S. Just learned that a new word for OVERWHELMING CUTENESS has been added to the Oxford English Dictionary: GIGIL (pronounced ghee-gill). Hence: How gigil are these chicks!!!! 🙂

  5. That' pond/dream stream's yellow/coppery water does not work for me. I don't know how she can stand it.

  6. Samantha and Benjamin are so excited about the baby chicks. They will have a great time watching them grow. I'm assuming they will be egg layers for you. The pond is looking very beautiful and I love the new plants you've added. Lovely! 🤗💕🤗

  7. Laura and Aaron I have a auger question: I purchased the second size Laura edition from you in winter and watching Laura today I realized my drill doesn’t have the handle Laura has on hers I noticed that Amazon has ones you attach to the drill. My question is is this what I need to buy an attachment for my drill or does the one you use have it attached? I’ll be planting annuals in a few weeks and need some advice. Thanks guys!

  8. Love the new plants around the pond area they will be so beautiful !!! I was just at Tractor Supply today and of course had to watch the baby chick's and ducks, that are just soooo adorable !!! Love seeing Aaron cutting grass again lo ve that smell of fresh cut grass.

  9. The pond area looks gorgeous. It was lovely to see the little chicks 🐥 Samantha & Benjamin will certainly enjoy watching them grow 🐥😊

  10. Glory!!! After so much struggles I now own a new house with an influx of $155,000.00 every month God has kept to his words, my family is happy again everything is finally falling into place. God bless America……

  11. Momma, please make sure your babies are washing their hands after handling the chicks, it’s easy for them to get salmonella and campylobacter from handling chicks/chickens. I just saw them eating cookies and wanted you to know if you didn’t already.

  12. Baby chicks 🤗understandably the excitement level must be high, but your children have such a calm respect which is wonderful to see.
I love talking to my Mom in Law about your channel, she is in early stages of dementia but yesterday she asked if we could plant in her garden..🥰I have wanted to for years but since my father in Law past from cov.. nobody could do anything it was his garden. So today I put YouTube on her IPad. So we will be planning a drip system first so she can just enjoy planting.
Your channel really helps so much .
    Take care xx xx xx

  13. I have a question. With all the wonderful things going on in this video, I'm focused on the type of shovel that you use to dig holes with. I need one just like it where the scooper part is not overly big. Do you remember where you got it? I've tried looking on line but all the shovels are full size. And I love your chicks. I miss my chickens so much. I got mine when they were 3 days old and raised them until they passed on. 🥲❤🐥🐤🐣

  14. Cute baby chicks! Question: Are you going to add them to the chicken coop later? Also, are you going to enlarge the coop? Just curious

  15. Hey guys, I was going to plant soap wart next to our pond, but the nursery told us it was poison to the fish. 😢

  16. If you warm your hands up by holding a cup of hot coffee or tea, then pick up a chick they will snuggle down into the warmth of your hands!!!! 🐥

  17. Absolutely love the Siberian Iris! My Grandma from England always called them English Iris! She was 88 when she passed in 1969, so I wasn't into plants then as a 16 yr old to ask her why.
You are so fortunate you don't have deer. I'm in the forests of Western WA and if it's supposted to be deer resistant, they still will nibble new plantings for sure! No deer solutions have ever worked, they soon develope a taste for all. Would have to invest major $ to deer fence the 10 acres. Love those baby chick's! They are fortunate to have Ben and Samantha as caretakers!❤❤❤

  18. Your children are precious! So gentle and well mannered. Really enjoyed this "episode" and look forward to seeing more.
