cebu blue on a sphagnum moss pole. If I cut the vine at the yellow circle will the top part of the vibe survive? Ambition is to then have another vine growing on the poll. plenty of aerial roots (see other pics).

  1. The more leaves a cutting has, the longer it takes to root the prop. That’s long enough that idk if it would work at all. You’ll likely be better off cutting into sections of 1-2 leaves and propagating them all. Or the other thing you could do is strip the last several leaves so that there’s multiple nodes to root

    I’d cut all the empty vines off first prop those then you can cut the entire wall pole at the area that you want because they’re already roots growing in the Moss Pole. All you have to do is replant that in dirt.

    Never dissect a node go above or below and id wait till it gets to the top !

    As long as the top has rooted into the pole and established itself, you’ll be fine. Cut between nodes. The bottom half will shoot out a second vine after the cut, yes.
