I have these thin patches in my lawn. The whole thing was redone last year- zone 6b, fescue with a little bluegrass- not sure off the top of my head on variety, but it came from a local seed store- not a big box Scott’s / Pennington type. I need to do a soil test, and will overseed in the fall. Just curious what the experts here take is. Other parts of my lawn are lush and thick. Yes, I’ll just wait and see…

1st close up is of the better area. Last 2 are of the thinner areas.

    Did you overseed and fertilize yet? Now is the time to do it.

    I think it will fill in with the overseed. If you haven’t done it yet, is recommend having someone aerate it and then put down the seed and fert.

    It also looks like it is coming out of dormancy still. I think it will be great this summer. You have a nice lawn, but winter takes its toll on all of it. Give it a boost to kick off the growing season.

    If the seed you used has some Kentucky blue it will fill in with time, nitrogen,sun,water and frequent cuts. Give it all of this it will look fantastic.
