Is my violet dying? I bought this violetya 2 to 3 weeks ago, it was beautiful, but its flowers are fading, on another subreddit they said that it is healthy, and that it has just finished its flowering cycle. But today, when watering, I found 2 wilted leaves, my other pink violet has more flowers, despite having 1 or 2 wilted ones. Is she dying? How can I change? DOWN with all my cares

Vase: I haven't changed the vase since it arrived, it's small, only 7cm tall. And as you can see, it has a lot of leaves. But I already bought a N02 self-watering pot for her.

Watering: I water every other day. Always respecting not watering leaves and flowers, only the substrate, to water I use a spray bottle that sprays water in a more controlled manner

Substrate: I have no idea haha, but I already bought a special soil for violets from Vitaplan to do the transplanting

Fertilization: None, I don't even know what time to do it and with what

Climate: Southern Brazil, it's autumn, we've just come out of summer and the temperatures are already dropping, the cold in southern Brazil is very harsh in winter, and autumn already lowers temperatures well

Environment: I leave it on a shelf, where a window lets in natural light, but I never put it in direct sunlight

I hope this information helps you understand the situation.

I’d water less often via bottom watering. I water my violets once a week, usually. Overall, the plant doesn’t look too unhealthy! Just prune off the dead blooms and leaves and take it easy on the moisture 🙂

Edit to add: make sure to get some perlite to mix into substrate. Helps to keep it from getting too wet and heavy. Violets are susceptible to root rot, so you want to make sure the mixture isn’t dense.
