Spider plant. Your pot will be big enough for a short amount of time. They grow rapidly and produce mighty roots.

Spider plant, they grow like crazy and you can clip and grow more and clip and grow more and clip and grow more…….

Spider plant doesn’t want a pot thats too big, so I wouldn’t increase pot size until roots are coming through the drainage holes.

Its roots need air as well as water, so aim for damp soil, not wet, and good drainage. In a pot, the soil needs roots to draw up the water. Too much soil without roots stays wet too long and organic material starts to rot. So we keep pot size small, and increase in small increments.

That is a very happy spider plant. They are so easy, they even tell you when they’re thirsty. The green will get really pale!

It looks like Ocean Spider plant to me. It looks great! I have a cluster of them as well and in a much smaller pot with good drainage. They want a snug fit but with a little room to breathe.

Spider plants love to be root bound and they’ll put out more pups . Should be good in that pot for a while 🙂
