I did plant some nasturtiums to drape over my tomato-raised bed. What I didn't know is that the flowers are good on pizza. I must try that. We had a string of mid-80s weather here, and it caused my broccoli and broccolini to bolt! There are lots of pretty yellow flowers, though. I like to grow chives just to look at the purple flowers.

I learned tomatoes struggle in full 90f+° & full CA sun. They originated in central/south america under canopies. This summer 1st time I will develop a summer shade garden in my east side yard! Video idea: Smoothie recipes!

I just planted parsely and cilantro seeds last week. Arugula and snap peas too. Im so excited. Arugulas expensive to buy all the time, so i thought id grow my own. Its still cool temperature so im just doing all the cool greens😊
Great content. My garden is nothing but 80% shade. I'm fortunate enough to get a decent harvest of tomatoes, peppers, and most other 'sun loving' veggies. But having a list such as this definitely helps me to expand on my upcoming planting. Now if only watermelon grew well in the shade. 😏

Eggplant needs 6-8 hours. My garden gets sun from 10am-2pm with no problem ❤
