Welcome gardeners! While on vacation in Southern California, I was able to spend a few hours at one of my bucket list public gardens that I’ve been wanting to visit for years! The Huntington Botanical Gardens is a stunning 130 acre public garden that showcases 13 separate themed gardens! From the Children’s Garden to the Japanese Garden, the Huntington did not disappoint! 🌿 Enjoy!

  1. This is a beautiful garden. I'm in awe! My family was in Orlando FL. This same week. We visited Mead Botanical Garden. I love visiting public gardens

  2. My husband used to make Bonsai's out of the "reject " ( because the plants were too crooked to sell ) perennials , he taught himself how to do it with a bonsai book….I'd love to see you try your hand at it

  3. WOW this was such a treat. I love how your daughters are so close to one another. Watching them hold hands is so endearing. I hope they will always be best friends. 💙💚💛🧡💜 Liz

  4. Next time you are in So Cal, visit Descanso Gardens in La Canada Flintridge if you have never been there, especially during cherry blossom season. 🙂

  5. Such a breathtaking garden! I have never been there so I so appreciate your video sharing its beauty! What a treat – Thank you, Janey. You may be interested in a posy (tussy mussy book) with gorgeous photos and descriptions of varied tussy mussies and their meanings. The book is titled, The Posy Book – Garden Inspired Bouquets that Tell a Story, by Teresa H. Sabankaya. I believe she is living in the Santa Cruz, CA, area.

  6. Thanks for sharing – I feel this is your year to complete the PCT! ❤️💪❤️ I like your little tweaks- I think you will find these things will make all the difference. I’m so excited to be following along.

  7. That was beautiful! Tell your family thank you for their patience so you could share that with us!

  8. That was fantastic! Thank you so much. My girlfriends have been there several times. I am going as soon as it warms up. The Asian gardens were beautiful. But I'm very interested in the spice garden and carnivores plant garden. Thank you again. ❤️

  9. Those are amazing gardens! I wonder if anyone has ever walked across the gravel Zen garden in the Japanese garden and messed up the gravel.

  10. My favorite place to visit when I’m in the LA area. There are so many great places to eat at the Huntington. I hope you had a chance to go into the library. I love the new Chinese garden. Best time for roses is June. Thanks for bringing back some memories.🧡🌻

  11. IF—when you return be sure to visit the cactus and succulent section. Too bad you didn’t go this time, The aloes are in full blooming season. Thanks for the visit.
