  1. I wouldn’t be so sure thats mold. could be obviously be wrong but to me it looks more like minerals blooming out the pot. basically just salts washing out. Google how old and worn terracotta pots look, they have all sorts of things growing on them 😅
if you want to be sure tho, just change the pot. plant looks great, so “saving” really isn’t necessary.

Shower the plant, change the soil and pot.

This happens a lot with clay pots. They are just mineral deposits and sometimes algae will grow. You just have to maintain cleaning it or you can just let it be.

Next time you water the plant, replace water with 3% hydrogen peroxide. Will cleans the soil of bacteria and most fungi. Don’t worry that you are watering with peroxide, ( might seem wrong or scary, but it’s OK) plants can withstand up to 15% H202( which is how I manage pests on my strawberry field)

I think it’s mould. Just wipe it off with a cloth and pretend it never happened. It could be a cold room, or a humid room, or both, or condensation from steam onto a cool pot. It could be spores in the porous terracotta; could be minerals; if you’re overwatering, do it a bit less. Pots stay wet because porous.

My terracotta pota have been turning white from just watering.. is that normal??

Yeah, throw it out. Throw it all your plants and all your potting gear. Plants have never had a single speck of mold in their entire lives. You’re doomed.

I never use terracotta for this reason I hate it.

Terra cottas can be sanitized regularly too since they’re porous and if a plant is diseased, say a soil problem, it can linger in the pot. I clean mine every year with boiling water and a toothbrush doesn’t really matter tho If you don’t
