Not sure what's happening with this philodendron it looks nice but something doesn't add up with its stems specially the old ones is this normal? I usually apply some neem, potassium soap and one or two mint oil diluted
. My monsters and others plants seems nice but not sure in this one
Usually wait till is dry to water it , receives indirect light

    Just looks a little woody to me. Which is normal, older stems get this sort of bark.

    Similar to bark on a tree,but could be from something rubbing against the stem. I don’t think it’s anything to worry about. The older stems get crusty.

    This is normal. As the plant gets bigger and heavier and more mature, the stems change to help support the weight. Think of a tree sapling – the “stem” is floppy and green. It turns hard and dry to the touch as the tree grows, forming the trunk.
