  1. 🪴🪴🪴Someone wanted to give away 7 rounded boxwoods and I said I wanted them. They were dropped off out of pots and I planted them right away. They completely changed the look of my garden, adding structure and a little formality. I just love them.

  2. I just rejoined!!!! YAY!!!! Linda, how about using the stairs at the side door that you said isn't used as a platform for displaying all sorts of potted plants? It would be lovely, maybe some baskets and other items too. How about some ficus or Boston ivy on your garage wall facing your house.

  3. As we speak,I’m opening garage door each sunny day,to give my 12 potted ball Boxwoods, some much needed Sun and warmth. Soon I will be able to leave them outside for the Summer season. I do have a large u shaped hedge of Boxwood in ground, with a 5 foot iron urn and base. They do well usually, cover with burlap in the Winter, only to protect from Sun/ Snow scalding on top. Between my Boxwoods and my many Eugenia Topiaries,I don’t know which I love more. Boxwoods give your Garden,so much form, and texture.

  4. Linda I live in Lahore I used to follow Laura of garden answer and she introduced to your boxwood topiary and now I have few boxwood it’s really very rewarding and best ever green we also have marwa ( local name ) it’s very fragrant and similar to boxwood it’s flowering bush . Love your transformation of cottage garden ❤

  5. The little brick wall village looking gorgeous with the reds in the geraniums and the tulips 🌷 just beauuuuutiful❤❤❤

  6. For some color for your garden party over by your garage door just add some more red Geraniums that would fill in some color

  7. The tulips are magnificent! I tried them this year and clearly I am still learning as I need to find a sunny location next year to try them again! Thank you for sharing Better Boxwood info – I got Babylon Beauty for my tiny bed in front of the house and they are coming right along. What fertilizer would you recommend for them and when?

  8. What is the best boxwood to use in your window box and let it stay all year in Oklahoma. And during the winter do you have to water them? Thanks! I have one box that gets a lot of sun and the other gets sun/shade.

  9. Also a devoted fan of boxwood. I have so many deer that pass through my yard each day and the boxwoods are one of the most reliably deer-resistant. I never have to worry about my boxwoods.

  10. Linda, can you provide a link to the scissors you are using to trim your boxwood. I’ve notice you use those recently instead of the Barnell ones. Thanks

  11. Linda, what has been your experience with spider mite and better boxwood? In the past I have had boxwood and they always become riddled with spider mites!

  12. Linda, boxwood have been my favorite since I was a child because they were my Father's favorite. He had them in their own little mini gardens all over our large yard. The ease with which you can prune them is deceiving to me. I have a horrible time, I suppose, in seeing in the round. It's very hard for me to get them evenly round, but I keep trying!. Thank you. I have absolutely enjoyed you in the beautiful garden so much during the last weeks. It's my favorite time with you. I love the topiary and it looks so lovely. God bless.

  13. We cannot get boxwood this year at the nursery. They said there is a beetle that is killing boxwoods and it is spreading into Michigan, so they have decided to not sell them.
    Sad.

  14. Linda I think more color at the back of the garage would be a great idea ! Love boxwoods also and so nice to now have new varieties. Front and back gardens both looking beautiful.

  15. I don’t know why I’ve always been timid about putting boxwood in my gardens (at home and at my church), but dog gone it!!!! I’m doing it this year. Boxwoods await!!!! 🧑🏽‍🌾🧑🏽‍🌾🧑🏽‍🌾🧑🏽‍🌾🧑🏽‍🌾🧑🏽‍🌾🧑🏽‍🌾

  16. I absolutely love all of your boxwoods and all of your topiaries then add in the amazing tulips and it is heavenly. Everything looks stunning! I’m still about a month behind you and I can’t wait.

  17. Last year I had to replace some boxwoods and bought Skylight BB. I don’t really want the tall conical shape. Can I keep it pruned down more like a ball as it grows?

  18. Well I saw your beautiful face smiling back at me from the pages of the April 2025 issue of Better Homes & Gardens😊 You and your bountiful boxwoods are shining bright!

  19. If only this boxwood was box moth resistant.. it’s all good till you get it .. I have it for 4 years already, it’s a constant battle 😢
