I left a cabbage on my balcony and some plants grew out of it. What should I do now to save them? Plant directly the cabbage in the soil, even if there are no roots? Or cut the plants and place them in the water, hoping that they survive and create some roots?

I would just plant the cabbage and see what happens.

  2. Choose alternative letter one! The roots will develop in the soil. I don’t think You would have the same results if you cut and put then in water

That is cool! Maybe bury the whole cabbage in a pot of mud, maybe it will fertilize!! That really is cool & interesting!

Plant it, give it a little fertilizer, I would use cats soil, not regular potting soil. It has more stuff in it to help it grow.
