Recently started working on my gnat problem, no idea I had this many gnats living its best life in my grow room lmao. I’ve seen maybe 4 at one given time. I’ve got the mosquito bits and I’m working towards getting rid of them but MAN is it crazy.
And yes each picture is different sticky trap lol.
I’ve been waiting to water as much as possible and my grow room has two south facing windows so a lot of light just wondering if anybody has any extra tips to give! Thanks much

BTi is a bacteria that specifically kills mosquitos a D can kill fungus gnats. It’s the active ingredient in mosquito dunks. The easiest way is to put a dunk in those big refillable 5 gallon jug and fill it with water, let it sit for at least a day then water from that jug until the gnats are gone. If you use a pump I’d put a physical filter over the end of the pump tubing so it doesn’t suck in the dunk debris.
Just keep those sticky traps in for a month or so and your gnat problem will be gone. I’d change em out every week/two weeks at first but then when you stop seeing them, swap to clean ones and keep them up to make sure you get the ones that have yet to hatch. You’ll know when it’s time to take the sticky traps down when you haven’t seen new gnats in two weeks. Long story short, don’t worry, you’ll get rid of them quick!
lol I got the same pack and was astounded how many gnats were picked up by the sticky sun and butterfly! 🦋 ☀️ 🦟

Could be worse 🫢 Btw I recommend to also put these window traps on the windows if you just have these kind of traps over there (I live in Europe so things are a bit different from US etc). Even if you don’t keep plants directly near the windows, these still catch pretty good amount of gnats. This was the situation last summer, haven’t seen gnats in the past few months but they’ll make a comeback in summer time again and I already know that 😂 Gladly I’m prepared
